Vampire Weekend, The O2 Arena, London

Was lucky enough to get a last minute free ticket for Vampire weekend live at the O2 Arena last week. Now, I had never actually been to the O2 before, and hadn't actually realised just how huge it is. The last time I saw Vampire Weekend was in a far more intimate setting - they are definitely not a band I would expect to be an arena band. 

Nevertheless, they were pretty darn good. Despite all concerns, they were able to fill the arena and get the whole crowd going. My only complaint would be the odd green boiler suit the lead singer chose. We spent most of the gig trying to work out if that is actually what he was wearing. The photo in the paper the next day confirmed that it was a green boiler suit.
