Afternoon Tea, The Landmark Hotel

This week I was lucky enough to experience a rather extravagant afternoon tea at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone, London. The entire experience is fantastically slick, with excellent, efficient and friendly service. The atmosphere in the large atrium space, the Winter Garden is relaxed - at this time of year it was really nicely decorated for Christmas (with a real, yes real, gingerbread house entrance way!). This is, I might add, all before I have even mentioned the food. The tea, sandwiches, cakes and especially the scones are all pretty darn good. Only comment - it would probably be best for a specially occasion given the price. Won't be going back every week but would jump at the chance to go again!
