Mangal ll, Dalston

This is a Turkish Kebab restaurant which we were essentially forced into when it's older brother down the road, Mangal 1, was fully booked on a Saturday evening. We weren't phased though, as we were confident that this was not by any means a downgrade or a compromise. Mangal 2 is loud, hot, packed with people and nothing short of fantastic. Whatever you order, there is plenty of it and it tastes fantastic. We would recommend the lamb shish, along with the hummus. The service is very friendly, if a little manic. Would definitely go back. If you are up this way and in need of some of the local Turkish cuisine, look no further. Unless it is one of the other Mangals (!)
